STUNNING HIP HOP STUFF :: neon
We've just finished filming two hip hop dance instructional DVDs for release by World Dance New York in July - "Street Fusion" with Karen Gayle and "Urban Jam" with Laya Barak, both top NYC hip hop and jazz funk instructors (in New York, take classes with them at Steps on Broadway or DNA studios downtown.) The programs are very rich: each one contains a warmup and three choreographies - beginner, intermediate, advanced. The dance styles of Laya and Karen are very different, but both are the new, cutting-edge fluid stunning stuff. The rigor of the instructors and their dancers (2 dancers with Laya and 4 with Karen), the presentational skill and the degree of preparation were beyond words. Ah New York! The city that draws people of such amazing talent.

I love Jonathan Lee! Have to check out these DVDs :)
